Guardcoat Glass Coating

Aqua(Eco)² Series is a versatile fluorocarbon-free impregnation agent used for windshield, car glasses, glass panes. It can be used to impregnate numerous substrates and surfaces like varnishes, leather, wood, mineral grounds or glass.

The complete impregnation effect is already achieved by drying at room temperature. It is an emulsifier- and preservative-free water-borne solution of reactive organo-modified siloxanes.

Guardcoat Glass is a fluorocarbon-free, water-repellent impregnation treatment engineered to clean and protect vehicle windshields and automotive glass. It forms a smooth, hydrophobic layer that keeps glass clear, easy to maintain and looking new, and is especially useful in regions where hard water is used for cleaning.

Application Methodology

  1. Spray onto the application surface or substrate in a small area (45 x 45 cm or 30 x 30 cm).
  2. Immediately spread all over the area until it is dry and looks clean.
  3. Take another microfiber, or the dry side of the microfiber, and hand buff the applied surface to bring out gloss and shine.
  4. Water repellency can be tested for confirmation after 30 minutes.
  5. Allow 24 hours for proper curing and a longer-lasting effect.
  6. Repeat the same process when the repellency is seen or observed to have dropped.
